The real estate downturn has some real estate firms in Florida closing and/or scaling back, according to this article in the Herald Tribune: http://www.heraldtribune.com/article/20071024/REALESTATE/710240410.

Regional real estate brokerage Michael Saunders & Co has closed its North Port office, while Re/Max Properties has put its Sarasota offices up for sale, citing a need for only half of the space it once required.
